Winter weddings – don’t happen that often… but are also very beautiful. It’s a bit fresher outside than in summer (although August can also be quite cool) – but you can catch that with some fabric (or fur). The winter also has its own special charm: inside it is cosy and warm, the mulled wine finally makes sense and the landscape can be enchanted with glittering snow (unfortunately you can’t book it yet – not yet). Shortly before Christmas it was time for Madeleine and Dominik – at home in Bad Dürrheim the preparations took place and together with Konrad Licht from Wiesbaden (film) we started. Since we still had some time before the wedding ceremony, we spontaneously included a few portraits (I think the freedom to adapt spontaneously to the daily flow during a reportage is great) and then drove to the catholic church St. Gallus in Unterbaldingen. Afterwards we went on to the cosy vintage style party in the “barn” in Gutmadingen near Geisingen.
